James Arthur Harris, better known by his ring name Kamala, was an American professional wrestler. Nicknamed “The Ugandan Giant”, Kamala portrayed a fearsome and simpleminded Ugandan who wrestled barefoot in war paint and a loincloth, and approached the ring wearing an African mask while carrying a spear and shield. He is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in the mid-1980s and early 1990s. He died of the coronavirus on August 9, 2020.
